Christmas Island and Cocos (Keeling) Islands

This stunningly beautiful little dot in the Indian Ocean is the unique natural paradise of Christmas Island. It is the ultimate place for the most breathtaking elopement wedding. Closer to Indonesia than Australia, yet still part of WA’s Indian Ocean Territories - no passport required. There are no big hotels on the island, just a scattering of apartments and rentals.

I will be here in November 2027 to help a couple tick off two bucket-list items - getting married and seeing the red crab migration!
