Hi- I'm a professional celebrant and writer who is tickled pink to earn a crust by developing vibrant, entertaining and truly personal ceremonies for couples.

I  love working with couples to create a ceremony that's a perfect fit for them, especially the quirky ones!

My passions are people and humour. (OK - I like wine too, but we don't need to discuss that here.) I have had a regular satire column in Medical Forum magazine for several years. So far they don't seem to have noticed that I have no medical training. I also write occasional blogs and funny articles for bridal magazines when time allows.

I've been fortunate enough to win accolades for public speaking, includingthe Rostrum WA Speaker of the Yearback in 2011.

None of this would count for anything without giving exceptional customer service, which comes partly from loving what you do, and being able to focus on it. It helps that having been an events manager in a past life, I can organise my way out of both paper bags and more complex structures.

Most importantly, I know that weddings are about the people being married, not the celebrant, so I promise not to talk about myself any further, at any time. Trust me, this is a one-off indulgence.
